Arnau Ledesma "Terror Print XIII"
€400.00
One of the three original wooden doors that were shot by Valencian artist Arnau Ledesma in order to be eventually used as a xilographic mould to stamp the infamous "Terror Prints" series. On one side it is covered in black ink, and on the other it maintains the original red velvet fabric with which it was originally found. This was the 13th of the 13-piece set that was exhibited at the Coagularium from 21st February to 17th May 2019. Dimensions: 190x61x3,5 cm. Exhibition number: XIII / Catalog number: 1/3. It includes a foot-structure that allows it to stand by itself.
«Terror Prints» is a series of xilographic prints on paper and fabric, made by Arnau Ledesma along 2018 in Valencia, using as mould several wooden doors that have been previously shot with a hunting riffle and stab with a kitchen knife. Thus, their graphic content is set up by the arbitrary combinations of holes resulting of the violent action applied on the moulds.
